Hello Everybody,

I hope this newsletter finds you all enjoying this beautiful Portland summer.I can't believe that it is already the end of July.Time flies when you are having fun.Katherine and I just got back from a great trip to the east coast to visit family and take a few tea classes in NYC.We also had the pleasure of visiting the only tea plantation in North America.Wadmalaw Island off the coat of South Carolina is home to the only tea plantation in North America and it was a real treat to check it out.If you ever have the chance or are near Charleston, SC I would highly recommend stopping by to check this beautiful estate out.

Katherine and I would like to thank all of you that have been ordering tea via e-mail.We really appreciate your business and enjoy having the chance to catch up if we are lucky enough to drop tea off while you are home.

Special note: Katherine and I will be out of town on our last trip of the summer to visit family in Wisconsin from August 2-16.So if you have a tea order, please e-mail or call us so we can get that off to you right away.The last day we can deliver before the trip is August 1^st.Due to the short notice we would like to offer a 15% discount on all orders over $25.

How to order Foxfire Teas?

A lot of people are e-mailing orders in right now and that is perfect. We have been doing home delivery (in our Toyota Prius) for a $3 charge plus the cost of tea if you live in inner Portland. Ordering: e-mail us your order and address. We will then e-mail you the total and expected delivery date. You can then leave cash or a check on the front porch if you think you might not be around or we will just ring your doorbell and you can give it to us directly. We like the second one, because then we get to say hi. Or, we can send it to you by mail and you can mail us a check (old school method).

*For the time being loose leaf tea will be sold in paper bags instead of tins, but the amount will be what used to fit in the tins (prices are on the website). When we get the online store going, tea will be sold in 2, 4 and 8 ounce packages.

WE OFFICIALLY HAVE A NEW SPACE!!!!!

We have finalized a new lease for a wonderful space over on SE 11^th and Division.This space will provide us with an opportunity to grow our wholesale and online business.It will also allow us to open a small retail area where we will be selling bulk tea and accessories.The hours of the retail area are not finalized, but to start, we plan on being open 2-3 days per week.
