Greetings and Happy Holidays from Foxfire Teas!

As the old carol goes, it's the most wonderful time of the year, and at Foxfire, we want to share the holiday cheer with our friends and family. When it's cold outside, there's no better spot to curl up with a book or chat than here at our place. And, don't forget, Santa would be thrilled to have a warm mug of tea to wash down those cookies.

Tea of the Month - Organic Jasmine Pearls

This is a fragrant, sweet pear-shaped green tea that unfurls when steeped. Originally from China, this tea is said to ease anxiety, reduce cholesterol and increase circulation. It's a Foxfire favorite!

Featured Tea Recipe

Featured Tea Recipe - Jasmine Pearl Champagne

1. Place 1 tsp of Organic Jasmine Pearl tea in a finum brew basket in a 12
   oz cup. Add boiling water, and steep four minutes.
2. Remove filter and let cool to room temperature.
3. Fill champagne flute half full with Jasmine Pearl tea and the other half with your choice of champagne.
4. Enjoy your Jasmine Pearl Champagne
   (Makes roughly 4 drinks)
   

Upcoming Events

• Throughout the month of December, we'll feature the artwork of Carolyn Holman.
• Her original paintings are created with an ancient technique using layers of beeswax, resin crystals and pigment.
• Using an intricate process to add oil paint to cooling beeswax, layers of paint are created. As this process is repeated several times, the clear areas of wax allow color to show through, resulting in a soft depth with translucent quality.
  

Foxfire Favorite: Grip Media

In addition to being our upstairs neighbors at Foxfire, Grip Media is a creative, talented graphic design and media studio. They do amazing print and online design work for local Portland favorites including H20 bar and the Software Association of Oregon, plus big guys like adidas and Dell. If you're visiting Foxfire, chances are you'll see Jerry, the genius behind Grip Media's Portland office, offering us design advice. (Like our logo or our HTML newsletter? Yep, that's Jerry.)

What's New?

Still struggling to complete your holiday gift purchases this year? Or, do
